Easter weekend

Happy Easter! :) I had a pretty busy weekend. Chris and I went to comic con (all three days of it!), which is oddly exhausting. I guess walking around slowly on concrete and just being on your feet in general can do that to ya, huh? We dressed up on the second and third days. An older man took pictures of us yesterday because we were "weird and interesting"... We think that he had no idea who we were dressed up as. I'm not sure whether to feel freaked out or not because he had a huge camera and took close ups of our faces. After comic con, we prepared our house for Easter! We hosted a dinner/late lunch today with a few friends from school. We made a TON of food, and it was all delicious. Now I have to buckle down and get working on my term project.

Yesterday's outfit ended up being too warm--go figure! I thought for sure I'd be fine because there was a chance of thunderstorms, but nothing rolled through to cool us down. I guess that's what I get for wearing a winter sweater when we're hitting 70 degrees.

I kept today's look simple. I've been trying to think of outfits that incorporate my green flats. I didn't anticipate how difficult it would be to match them with my other clothes! I like how the shoes are the main focus of this outfit (I feel like these shoes will always be the focus, though!). How gorgeous are the flowers behind me?! We drove by them yesterday and I knew I wanted to get photos there while the flowers were in bloom. It ended up being a perfect day today to be outside with the flowers. After the photo session, we had to stop by the store because we forgot some things for our dinner--of course!
